Josyann Abisaab and URMC
Having studied medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Josyann Abisaab, might be interested in learning about the academic institute’s latest research. Apparently, HDL (what has always been known to be the ‘good’ cholesterol), might not be so helpful for “a subgroup of patients at high risk for recurrent coronary events, such as chest pain, heart attack and death.” Various professors at the URMC involved in this study said that this finding has been confirmed.
URMC Study
As well as James Corsetti who led the study from the URMC, other MD’s from the university participated in the study, including Dan Ryan and Wojciech Zareba. Studies like this show that the university is constantly keeping up on new developments in the field of medicine. Clearly, this is the kind of academic institution that will maintain its good reputation in the field of health and medical care so those who studied there, including Josyann Abisaab, would be likely to enjoy a good career in the field too.
